We strive to be accurate, but we make mistakes. If you think we’ve made a mistake in one of our articles, please contact us.
We strive to be objective and fair in our reviews of products, services and companies. We do not accept compensation of any type in exchange for a favorable review.
We will disclose when we link to a product or company with an affiliate link.
We will disclose when a TheTokenists co-founder owns equity in a private business that’s being mentioned in our editorial content.
Business relationships with companies and products being covered
Please note, that the co-founders and other writers at TheTokenists often do have business relationships with the companies and products that we cover. For instance, some of us own other Web businesses which earn revenue from the advertising networks that we review on TheTokenists.
We believe these business relationships inform our perspective and ultimately increase the value of our editorial content, but note that these relationships do exist, and we will not necessarily disclose them in an individual article.
The TheTokenist supports the meaningful exchange of information to help create an environment that fosters the continuation of knowledge, thought leadership and a free exchange of ideas. Such an environment requires the authors of the TheTokenist’s submissions/assigned stories to share their research findings and insights, if applicable, upon submission.
When quoting others’ work, include attributions within the body copy following journalistic, Associated Press style. Do not include footnotes, endnotes or lists of references.
The TheTokenist copyrights all original editorial content that is published in its media channels. There are no exceptions.
All writers whose original submissions are accepted must sign TheTokenist copyright forms. By doing so, the writer is are saying that he or she is the sole owner of the material and that it is original, and he/she grants the TheTokenist rights regarding his/her material, including rights to edit, retitle and reprint it, and to grant permission to others to reprint it. Articles are edited by the TheTokenist’s staff of professional editors, who generally rewrite all titles, subtitles, and subheads to conform to the magazine’s style. We will not accept responsibility in case of loss.
All authors are encouraged to promote their TheTokenist contributions once they are published by the TheTokenist via personal and company websites, social media outlets, e-mails to colleagues and peers, etc.
Please notify the editor with whom you worked on your submission that you would like to receive a PDF post-publication.
